Leg 3 — How To Turn Off A Troll
Continuation of International Comment Day — It Keeps Getting Better
LEG 3 — HOW TO TURN OFF A TROLL
(A Public Service Announcement)
By Jim Reynolds | www.reynolds.com
This is a follow-up to the International Comment Day announcement yesterday.
ICD has so far been a resounding success! Comments are up over 1,000%!! I really appreciate your participation in this historic international holiday that I made up yesterday.
It is not too late to jump in and comment your way to stardom. At least in my eyes.
I’ll only put two comment buttons in the message today.
But now I wanted to tell you a few things about how to handle trolls — bad actors — in the comment world.
Substack gives you three tools for dealing with people who wandered in from the Comment Swamp.
Mute — “The Gentle Shove”
Hides their comments from you.
Perfect for people who mean well but type like malfunctioning wind chimes.
Block — “The Trapdoor”
Deletes them from your digital reality.
They cannot comment, like, repost, or message you.
They vanish like the 2020 polling industry.
Report — “Hand Them to the Rangers”
For genuinely bad actors, Substack’s enforcement team steps in.
How to Use These Tools
Click the three dots next to their comment.
Choose Mute, Block, or Report.
Walk away feeling powerful.
Fogies’ Summary:
“If someone’s being a troll, click the three dots and drop them into the cornfield.”

Muted many trolls on Fox Digital. Very satisfying.
Got it!!!
Did you see my FB feting on FB today titled ARITHMETIC? Some of it was actually factual!
