Before I wrote it, i checked with all three AI’s. They scanned the news and concurred that he is done. Wow. Never had much charisma. But this is truly stunning. Make sure you stay out of Katie’s shot. I hear she can get irritated quite easily..

Trump is a likely exception to the rule. I could be wrong, but it looks like the republicans operate a bit differently than the democrats. Certainly not lock-step.

If that could have been Kamala instead.

The truly scary message behind this piece is that we no longer have a political system based on individual office-holders— their skills, their judgments, their policies, their personalities— it's based on parties. Unseen, unelected forces behind the candidate, controlling the office-holder— who then serves as a mere puppet to their special interests.

Pretty much the same thing happened when the Dem Perty decided Biden wasn't going to win against Trump. they cut Biden, took a limited look around and came up with the only realistic and rational (both questinable judgments) answer in Kamala. there was no way to hold an election to have voters support her before November and too many candidates would have come out of the woodwork to compete for the Presidency. Only answer was KH.

Never could understand how this sleeze got tons of media coverage and top bill as candidate for governor. (Same with the swooning over Newsom for prez.) Maybe Dem party honchos read the soon to be released FBI files on Fang Fang caper and said he had to go. In any case, I can’t stop smiling.
